Beautiful hand tufted rug made of 70 wool and 30 polyester. So soft underfoot. Laid out smoothly without any chemical smells. Purchased the pad that was suggested at check out which gives it a plush feel and prevents the rug from slipping. The pattern of the rug has different weaving throughout with elevated texture giving it a unique look. Wool rugs need to be carefully cared for as I found in my research and hope this rug stands the test of time as I feel it pulls together this room very nicely. Purchase the 8x10 rug.
