Beautiful colors and design! Extremely soft and smooth. Lovely smooth texture underfoot —my kids kept petting it! Does not shed or smell. I took off one star because it is VERY thin. We added a rug pad under it (one-third inch thick), and it is cushier now, but for the price, I would’ve preferred not to have to buy a rug pad too. The nonslip backing is very effective and keeps the rug in place, but that is a moot point for us since we added the padding underneath
