The chairs are very sturdy to sit in and the finish reminds me of a fine piece of Danish furniture. They are a little tricky to open and close but can be easily performed by opening and closing them a certain way that takes a little trial and error to find. The seat bottom is not real supportive because you can feel the bottom two slats when you sit on it. Hopefully, the bottoms will hold up over time.
