Took my chances ordering this table after ready some reviews and was very happy I did once I received the table. It looks better than pictured. I had no cracks in the wood and it had such a fresh wood smell that I thought they must have chopped the wood right before sending. The wood is sanded but not sealed so it is not a smooth surface. However I don’t anticipate any scratches or splinters. It is perfect for a bar table which will be covered with linens so a smooth surface wasn’t a priority for me.
