This is a very nice reception desk although saying it is wood is kinda a misnomer since it is really laminate over particle board. I really wanted the "wood" to be a gray so ended up staining the laminate with a polyeurethane. Came out really nice. But, would have been nicer if I could have bought it in gray.

It’s big and great for the price but it was NOT easy to put together. Professional assembly cost more than 12 the value of the counter so we decided put it together ourselves. Came in two boxes that were extremely heavy. A lot of pieces and could get confusing if you do not sort out the labeled pieces. Material was fair for the price. TBH I would not buy it a second time if had the choice, but content with the look.

The item arrived super fast and in two manageable sized packages, fairly easy to put together but there was an issue with the “wood” front portion having some gaps.

Directions were easy to follow and it looks great in my new office!

Purchased as a check in desk for our church nursery. It works great!
