I like the table. It does have an “office furniture” look. The veneer is very artificial looking and a lot more “red” tone with less deep brown than I wanted. It is extremely stableheavy and was easy enough for my husband and I to assemble with a drill, despite the absence of sensible directions. It’s a great size and can fit four people. This is a great table but just make sure you really want a table this high. I love everything about this table and the price was great but I should have researched just how high the table would be. Individual parts are very well made however very difficult to put together. No instructions on how to attach base to table top and no pre drilled holes. If you are extremely handy and have good tools this is the table for you. If not...then you can put holes in the table like me which was very upsetting. Should definitely opt for assembly. Darlene.
