You might expect that a tab advertised as writable for use with files, project folders, binders and notebooks would be writable with your average Uni-ball roller pen... but no it is not... not even close. Does the packaging say what type of pen or marker is useable? No. So beware before purchasing this product. 3M marketing... what were you thinking?

In school, work or highlight while reading, I can pull one out of my pocket jot my note or mark a page for future reference, even use them as file labels. I always have a large supply in my pocket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good idea that needs to be taken another step. To make this product more cost effective it needs to be reusable. This has to be converted into a dry erase tab along with your other tabs.

As a middle/high school teacher, I keep the durable, lined tabs by my side whenever I am reading a book the class will be analyzing, or a text from which I'll be teaching. That way, I'm sure to quickly find passages I need to share. Because the tabs are writeable, I can locate exactly what label or information I need. These are durable and repositionable, and oh so useful for organizing my teaching day. I use them as file organizers, too. Can't live without them!
