Overall, I am pleased with it. I am using it to walk my fishing kayak 14 mile down a paved road to the lake. Then there is a gravelgrass path down a steep hill to the beach area, and it does well - until you get to loose sand but still manageable. Be sure to strap it securely to the kayak, before attempting to tow it. TIP Use bungee cords to secure it to the rear of your kayak before launching it into the water, so you will have it with you wherever you decide to beach your kayak (especially when an unexpected storm pops up).

This is a sturdy cart. I ended up replacing the straps with bungee cords as the shoe long straps it came with are awkward. It’s still not a great setup. But there are videos showing how to make straps with buckles for your cart so I will try that next season.
