The shelf appeared more of a gray color than brown and it did not match my kitchen so I returned it. The wood seemed to be poor quality, but you get what you pay for.

I wish I returned these. I wanted to but we were in the middle of a renovation. Got 2. It's literally a basic wood box with a divider. And so much smaller than I thought. The photo with pans hanging - probably from a Kid's play set. WAY overpriced. And the hooks you had to put in yourelf. And they were cheap hooks. I ended up using it to sort out all my framed pictures which I could've used a cardboard box for.
