This shelf is beautifully made. Very good quality and the finish is excellent. There are a couple of reasons why it only received a 3 star rating. First, this is a 16" shelf and the instruction sheet that arrived with it was for a 22" shelf with completely different mounting. If I had used the enclosed sheet (which only mentioned a model number and not a size) I would have ended up with holes drilled in the wrong places. Lucky I'm a person who actually reads instructions and always measures at least twice before proceeding. Second, the plugs and screws were, in my opinion, too light to hold the shelf. The plugs (2 per side) would have been so close together that there wouldn't have been sufficient drywall to hold them properly. I ended up using 1 heavy duty fastener per side and centre mounting the hanging bracket. The shelf will still be there when I'm gone. Apart from those 2 things this is a beautiful shelf and we are very pleased.

This is really beautiful. The glass tilts forward a bit and there is nothing to catch things from sliding off. I had to be careful with what I chose to sit on the shelf.

This is gorgeous, well made, and very sturdy. We placed it in our powder room over the toilet and we hang hand towels on the bar and place room spray and candles on the glass shelf. Functional and decorative.
