I chose these partly because I feared my cat would view a natural material weave as a scratching post. She ignores these completely. They are exactly what I wanted. They hide all our soiled laundry plus gallon jugs of vinegar (overflow/oversized laundry products that don't fit in cabinet), and even when they're right up against the wall the lids will stay open so you can throw stuff in without battling the lid. Capacity is decent and they help prevent overloading the washer (compartments are the correct size for getting an average sized load clean.) They emit NO funny smell which anyone who has chemical sensitivity would appreciate. The four packs of three various sized, delicate garment washing bags and an extra liner that came with the sets are another plus. They were easy to put together. One caveat ... the color is a creamy white, not a pure white. Which is fine with me because our bathroom is painted a creamy white. If you're picky about exact color, take note.
