Not too difficult to put together on my own but would be easier with two people. This is a very sturdy storage bench and easily fit ALL the cushions for my outdoor sectional furniture. There were some corner pieces that looked like they may have been chipped or broken in transport but it did not affect the assembly or the operation. For the price, this was not bad.
