This is our second (same) ladder - we had the first one for several years until it got destroyed in the fire. We loved the first one, but the second one unfortunately came without a smooth finish, and was full of wood eating bugs. We would wake up with a small pile of sawdust on the floor every day and lots of holes in the ladder. Had to throw it away. Two stars because it still looked cute.

The item is cheaply constructed and not as it appears in the photos. The vertical parts are each made up of two separate pieces of wood which creates a failure point in the item. Our ladder arrived very damaged and unusable and we are in the process of returning it.

This is the perfect natural wood color. It also came quickly and fully assembled! Sturdy, and doesn’t move or scratch against the wall. Great product, highly recommend! Also,

Works fine as a blanket ladder. This is unfinished wood so the texture is rough and dry. I plan to wax it so it doesn’t catch fabric
