[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this iron it was great and did the job fast. I iron a dress and my sons cargo pants and was great. It was great I really like the roll up cable future. No need to leave it loose on the counter. It does take a bit for the heat but once it’s hot it’s great and I have no complaints. I like the steamed option too was great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Full-Size Iron with Retractable Cord (MODEL: 14289F) is a pretty decent iron. It has good steam, which is important if you are working with cotton fabric. I found it easy to use and especially liked the fact that it uses tap water, not distilled. This iron has a button for an extra burst of steam and a button for spraying water. Both these features are very useful. It also has a nonstick soleplate that slides very well. The feature I like the most is the retractable cord. It ratchets out so you could conceivably have any length cord. AND, it retracts with the push of a button. The button is a little hard to push and the retraction will stop if the cord snags on anything, but it is a big improvement over any other cord storage options. This Full-Size Iron is a little on the heavy side and the balance is a little off. Setting it upright and tipping it back down got to my wrist after moderate period of use. Overall, this is a decent product for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an overall good basic iron that has a full size soleplate, retractable cord, spray & blast steam options, and auto shutoff which I like. It is fairly comfortable and easy to use but time will tell as far as how durable the nonstick soleplate is and if it will remain nonstick. It is heavier at the base of the iron which gives it an off-centered center of gravity. My previous HB iron's soleplate became less nonstick over time. Overall, this so far is a slight improvement over my previous HB iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't iron much, but when I do I prefer to use an oron that steams as i oron and this oron delivers in that. I appreciate the retractable cord so theres no damge to the cord when its time to put away. I wosh there was a aelf cleaning feature since i have hard water and sometimes that steam pushes out some funky stuff also wish that the water rservoir was a bit lower. I encoutered water spilling out when I negated to properly close the cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Iron has a lot of great features. It heats up fast and has a sturdy base to keep it standing safely. The Normal Steam Function works great as does the Vertical Steam Function. The Auto Off feature is a good idea. It also comes with an extra long cord.
