Steel Step On Kitchen Trash Can - 9.5 Gallons

Love my little trash hub in my narrow kitchen. It’s perfect for a single person or a couple of people that are conscious of not producing too much waste. I have a separate small bin in my freezer for collecting food scraps to compost, so I only needed a small bin for other trash and I use the bottom bin for cans and plastic.

This is a great compartmentalized can for small spaces. The things I will mention that kept it from 5 stars are that it is significantly taller than most trash cans and that the top compartments are somewhat small. I placed my SimpleHuman 13 gal trashcan next to it for reference. You can’t fit many cans in one side, but it does help with sorting if you live in an area that requires that and you’re ok with taking it out almost every day. It’s a solid piece, would likely be great for someone doing composting.

Way to tiny for any average household

This is comprised of two small units. They are perfect if you dont have a lot of space or you dont generate a lot of garbagerecyclables. It works for me because I use the larger container for my recyclables like my used takeout containers, and I use the smaller, 2-compartment unit for my return bottles (they go to two separate stores).

Love how compact this can is while still allowing for separating the recycling from the trash. Very easy to use and much easier to clean than a larger can.

I love this trash can! It holds more bags and bottles than I thought it would and keeps the kitchen neat and organized.

I am so happy with this trash can - it turned out to be perfect for my small space in New York. I was hesitant to order it given some of the mixed reviews, but I'm so glad I did. First of all, the trash bag does not stick out - it is flush with the trash can once you lower the little bars on the inside of the receptacle. If you install it correctly, it looks sleek and neat. Secondly, the trash can is easy to empty because the entire receptacle can be removed from the base and re-installed with ease. I'm also pleased that you don't HAVE to stack the two parts - you could easily separate them if you had more space, and they would look just as nice side by side. This was really worth taking the chance on the product; don't be deterred by some of the less enthusiastic reviews. There are not a lot of trash cans out there like this, but this one is a really great solution to the space issue.

I like the concept of 3 compartments. but this is definitely for small apartment. it doesn't look good, when you use liner(hard to close lids.) also no instruction how to remove bottom compartment to take trash out. NOT EASY.

Came broken. Nice idea and overall good size but impossible to find trash bags that fit.
