39" W - 63" W Closet System Starter Kit

This hanging system is definitely a space saver. We use it in our laundry room to easily hang shirts up to dry right out of the washer or to hang shirts up right out of the dryer, to prevent wrinkling. The only downside is installing and removing the telescopic hanging rod. To install/remove the telescopic hanging rod, one has to pop out the small hanging rod from each InstaHanger sliding channel, slide the telescopic rod in, pop the InstaHanger rod back into the sliding channel. Don't get me wrong, these steps don't take that long, but for my preference, I had to modify the telescopic rod for my ease of use. I took my angle grinder to it to the ends of the telescopic rod and cut a slot into them so I can easily rest the telescopic rod into the hanging rods. For me, this modification took me from doing 6 things down to 2 thing. All I do now is set InstaHangers in their open position with hanging rods positioned horizontally and rest my modified telescopic rod over the hanging rods...Boom, Bang, Done! I'm not planning on hanging anything heavy so I'm confident my modification will not compromise the structural integrity of the telescopic rod. If the telescopic rod could be modified or improved by the manufacturer to be more efficient to install/remove like the way I modified mine to be, I would have no issue rating it 5 stars.
