Love it. Placed in a home I built, capturing all of the features I loved from previous homes. I couldn’t imagine anything but. It was easy to custom, using my cabinetry. It seems crazy but a built in ironing center is totally a must have for busy people who like their house perfect.

About This Product

The E-42 is the model of choice when searching for a basic, electric, built-in ironing centre. This UL-listed ironing centre features a 60-minute motor timer that powers the outlet and spotlight, a pilot light, and a safety disconnect switch which allows the iron to stay safely plugged in at all times and ready for use. The 42-inch ventilated metal fold-down ironing board creates an evenly heated surface, perfect for steaming out those tough wrinkles. The ironing board is supported by a single, telescoping leg anchored at the perfect angle to the base of the cabinet, providing rigid support and stability. Safely set the iron aside while adjusting or reaching for a new garment with the hot iron rest feature. When finished ironing, store your iron hot inside the premium hot iron storage area, designed to fit most modern irons on the market today. The door style is a Flat Maple Veneer, ready to be painted or stained. The cabinet interior is finished in cool grey. The exterior is unfinished.

Direct Electrical: The UL-listed ironing centre adds an extra layer of safety and convenience to your everyday ironing. Features include an outlet, timer, spotlight, and a host of safety features allowing you to keep the iron plugged in at all times, ready for a quick touch-up!
Premium Hot Iron Storage: Updated to accommodate most modern irons on the market today, the premium-size storage shelf is reinforced with a high-quality heat shield allowing you to store the iron hot!
Fixed Position Board: Stationary, fixed position ironing board supported by the telescoping leg, anchored to the bottom of the cabinet, providing a rigid rigid ironing surface.
42" Ironing Board: Features a deluxe length 42" ironing board, complete with cover and padding.
Recessed or Wall Mount: The ironing centre can be recessed between studs, protruding just 3 7/8" into the room, or mounted directly on a wall, protruding 7 3/4" into the room. See the installation manual for more details.
Unfinished Cabinet: The cabinet exterior is unfinished and ready to be painted or stained to match the existing décor.
Other Features: Deluxe features also include a cord wrap to neatly store unneeded lengths of cord, a garment bar for finished pieces, and two storage shelves within the cabinet.
Door Styles: Options include the standard unfinished flat maple veneer (ready for paint or stain), unfinished raised maple panel (ready for paint or stain), pre-finished flat white (not a paintable surface), pre-finished raised white panel (not a paintable surface), mirror (full length; installs over provided flat maple veneer door), or a no door (ready to install a custom door; hinge hardware included).
