I wasnt expecting super high quality from the price, so overall Im mostly happy with the unit. One big thing that is disappointing is the large fasteners used to secure the side pieces. They are very visible, yet the manufacturer decided to make them silver when all the other exposed hardware is black. Pieces like this often come with stickers or something to cover up hardware when its this obvious, but this one didnt. A lot of the holes are chipped around the edges as well, so even more disappointing. They are also at the top of each side piece, so not even covered by placing books on the shelf. These issues are not enough for me to return the bookcase, but now I feel like I have to try to find something to cover up the holes.
