Easy to assemble and large enough to put our outdoor furniture cushions inside to keep dry. Great quality for the price.

It's my new "she shed"! Our new retirement home is limited in space so with this great deck box I can get rid of all my gardening stuff! It was easy to put together, is just the right size, and the finish matches the color on the house. I love it!

This arrived covered in what appears to be glass fibers. I didn't know if that's from the waterproofing treatment or the packaging, but it's certainly concerning. And unless it's incorrectly described as fir instead of cedar, they aren't crystals from the wood sap. Is not easy to see without a video, but I've attached photos.

The wood material was lightweight and cheap feeling. However, the interior storage space was very large and perfect for what I needed. This box is definitely the largest for the price! The lightweight wood also made it easier to move around, and once I stepped back, the appearance looked beautiful and high quality. I just would be wary of using it for high traffic seating as the wood may scratch easily. If that is your plan, consider using cushions.

This is the lightest constructed piece of flat pack furniture I have ever encountered. The wood is so thin and light it almost feels like balsa wood. If someone sits on it I think it would splinter. Also the pieces are not drilled to receive the screws, i.e. the top piece of wood is drilled though but the bottom that it is being attached to is not. Not even a dimple as a register mark. You have to be careful screwing or it will be crooked. The finish looks ok, but it is just a stain. I am going to clear coat it for durability. This piece is going in a screen porch top hold cushions. It is incapable of anything heavier or any sort of weather exposure.
