Have several of these (previous design models) that have been great. Really great not having to climb on a ladder to load or unload.

This is an amazing solution to add storage to a cluttered garage. Installation was a bit difficult for us, mostly finding the best position and alignment with the beams. Hand cranking the 12 bolts in over head is very hard, I recommend using a drill driver with a 13mm socket. Once in place, the directions are super simple and straightforward.

The Midwest cold snap has not allowed us to assemble and install this garage storage rack. The instructions and illustrations are clear and concise. Items in the box are clearly marked and all hardware is separated according to size. There are also additional reminder tags regarding important installation points. I will update my review once we have been able to assemble and install.

Overall it is a good product. It came packed well and works well. I marked it down 1 start for 2 reasons. First, it comes with a cardboard template that you are supposed to tape to the ceiling and then install the brackets. Great idea but you almost need 2 people to do it and, if you don't have smooth clean ceilings the tape won't work. I have popcorn ceilings in my garage so the tape would not hold. I used push pins to hold it. The bigger issue I have is the gear ratio of the crank. It moves really slow, like painfully slow. I would suggest a little higher gear ratio to speed up lowering and raising.

Awesome product. Easy to attach to the ceiling

This is my own fault for not looking into it before purchasing but MAKE SURE YOUR CEILING IS RATED TO SUPPORT LIVE STORAGE LOAD before using this product. I did not realize until after installed but the ceiling joists in my garage are actually just the bottom chord of standard 2x4 residential roof trusses which are technically only rated to support the roof and dead load of drywall / insulation, NOT live storage load. Thank God I realized this before actually using it. Will be switching to floor mounted shelves lol
