Security Safe Lock

This product is too heavy to move so you need to get in room delivery which I needed to call for. In additon it arrived dented despite the crate. It was a great product though, just too bad it is too hard for them to ship without dome damages, scratches and dents though still functional

The delivery process was horrible. First they say we will get it around December 4th. THen an update of November 4. That was ok but then the truck broke down and no one bothered to let me know they were not coming - I had to call an hour after the delivery time to see what was happening. Delivery normally wouldn't be a big issue but we were replacing a safe and coordinating the move out of the old safe with the arrival of the new one was hard when we had to change it two times. WHen I called after the first delivery date and told about the truck the lady said they would be out here on Monday. No show, when I called they said they don't deliver in this area on Monday. What a fiasco. And to top it off, when we unboxed the safe it had a big dent in it. The return shipping of this item wasn't worth the return of it so we're living with it but not cool.

Safe was what I expected. It arrived as promised and in great shape Well worth the money.

You need both a key and the combination to open this S8771 fire safe. You can't just use either the key or the combination to open it. I was the under the impression that I could open it either way but I guess both make it more secure. You should use this safe on the ground floor with a concrete slab underneath it. The safe weighs 624 pounds and could be dangerous in a fire if it fell through the ceiling. This safe has plenty of room to store your valuables and important papers. I did not get to see it in person before ordering it but am surprised how much room it has.

The safe is great, the footprint is not too big but it is spacious inside. The only issue I had was that the safe appears to have a dent in one corner. My wife did not notice it until the day after the delivery was complete. It's no big deal and does not affect anything.

Really nice safe, i love thr fact that it had a lockable drawer inside.

the digital lock stop working and its not allowing me to unlock my safe.

This safe requires that you use both the combination AND the key. If you do not have the key, you cannot open this safe.

This safe can be opened in less than 30 minutes, I know it is not burglary rated but still...garbage.

This safe has worked flawlessly for 10 years with only one set of 4 AA battery change. Note that this safe is not meant to store valuables so it's not burglar rated. It provides a 1 hour 1750 degree UL rated from fires. It's meant to be used a document safe. This safe can provide a minimal level of security against theft of valuables.
