simplehuman 58L sensor recycler with voice and motion control, brushed stainless steel

The Recycler is beautiful, in all its Matte Black goodness. However while the features work as described and work well… we find it opening without anyone being around it quite often. I’m going to read through the booklet and see if it’s something that I need to set up, but if not it’s not something that I would classify as a slight quirk.

When removed from packaging Recycler was not opening on sensor or voice control. Waiting for a replacement and will be sending the already boxed not working Recycler back upon receipt.

This trashcan works as advertised. Makes it easier to put trash into the can without fumbling around, stepping on pedals or lifting lids. I can recommend this to anyone.

We love the sleek style and functionality but the sensor can be easily confused causing lid malfunction that requires a reset When it is working perfectly it. Is fantastic and stays so much clearer than our old model with the foot pedal did

This is my 2nd 58L Sensor Recycler and I simply love it.

I think these sensor cans are amazing. I hope they will continue to be available. They are so helpful for people on walkers and have arthritis issues. This is my 2nd can I ordered. Another great thing is these cans don’t talk back! Ha. My first one first just gave up listening to me (it lasted a few years)! But I like this can and ordered another.

Item as described, love the looks and convenience when open and close automatically.

I love this sensored trash can plus it holds way more trash now that the recycle is separated.
