This is a sturdy shelf for holding my iron. It hasn't gotten installed yet, but we will get to it next week. You do need to consider the iron size when deciding whether to purchase it, because larger irons don't fit in its dimensions. Or you could store starch or other ironing needs on the shelf, instead.
