I was hoping my ribbon storage would finally be solved. Sadly, it is not. This is a great concept, but it's not made for typical sewing ribbon. It seems to be made for larger rolls of decorating and wrapping ribbon. What I have in the box are rolls 3 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/2" wide. You can see I needed to put something behind the rolls so you can pull the ribbon through. I also put 2 rolls through one hole. I think what this is meant for is ribbon 4 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4 wide. I'm keeping it, but would not buy for smaller sewing ribbon.
