Great for adding extra work space in my laundry room. Folds down easily when not in use. Great purchase.

This is exactly what we needed in our laundry room. It does not take up much space, and it is very sturdy. Installation was tough, and I definitely recommend two people. Also, the screws that came with it broke when I was trying to install them, so I had to purchase New, stronger screws.

I learned a new language while trying to install this thing. There are absolutely NONE (zero) tips which would make your life easier. I will start with the this: (1) it is VERY heavy, the board and hardware are quite sturdy. Having said that, if you are an elderly or disabled person, You are going to find that putting it down and lifting it back up is quite difficult because of the weight of the board. It is very challenging for one person to install, because you have to screw in the screws that hold the hinges while holding on to the screws and getting them centered. (2) I found it very difficult to install this thing flush to the wall. Even though I allowed 1/2 inch leeway, as listed in the directions, if folds down but not all the way. It still looks like it is sitting at a slight angle when the board is full folded. It appears to hit some kind of resistance, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why it is doing this. (3) You may wish to consider what kind of clearance you're going to need when the thing is centered on your studs. Be sure to keep it away from a door opening for example. (4) because of the necessary stud location, the spring "buttons" that you have to depress on the hinges are located in kind of an odd place under the board (it would be so much better if they were within finger reach of the edges) but they're not. Makes it awkward to raise and lower the board. Given everything I know now, I would not buy this item. Too much trouble to install, installation is not as good as I would have liked. It will work, but I'm not too happy about it.

Very poor support brace/anchor design. Clearly the instructions written to find wall stud was with good intentions and common sense, but the self support was not designed with that capability in mind. The width and pre-drill mount holes are to far apart, wider than a standard wall stud and truly miss the idea if centered. Picture show it on a standard stud, the holes are to the outer edge of stud. The screws will split or bore out the edge of the stud. So plan on one side being drilled in to the stud. While the other side is through drywall, and I do not recommend using the cheap anchoring plastic pieces hole threaders. Buy better supports (pictured), which I used to avoid the stud all together thereby maintaing the integrity of my wall studs too. Also note. They clearly were not thinking of the installer/installation. Predrilled holes line up directly in the way of the hing screws.

Great table for the laundry room. Packed very well, installed easily. Even the styrofoam packing material didn’t spread beads all over when I broke it up. Very well made.
