Zemrane Vintage Trunk

The trunk looks good, but is not as sturdy as i would like.

Perfect just what I was looking for

I was so excited when I got it, I had to open it right then.........and take a picture. My husband of 47 years died of cancer in November. I will be using the trunk as my MEMORY BOX.

Very pretty and very quickly delivered. Not very sturdy--definitely not able to be sat on, which is why I put a few things on top, too make sure guests didn't think it was a seat. I will need to be careful with it--I bet the little trim pieces will come off easily if handled carelessly. Also the feet and other parts of the bottom are very rough and left surface scratches in the finish of my hardwood floor, so I glued felt strips to the parts that touch the floor. But I still love the way it looks and am willing to be careful and/or glue things back together as needed.

I love this trunk. It compliments my decor and stores SO much. My one complaint is that it has no handles which makes it difficult to move when its full of 'treasures' like my tool box! The wood is soft which makes the finish fragile. It is acquiring lots of character from me running into it with my wheelchair. Hint - Burnt Umber acrylic paint is a perfect match for first aid on those bumps.

Weak —- everything. I expected something stronger for the price.

Its not what I thought but I like it.

This is a great chest for storage. A lot of things on this site are smaller than they appear. This is a good size. I got it to store family photos, some dating back over 100 years. When they are in the attic or garage, no one sees them. This is a perfect solution. It is an attractive piece and looks good. Best thing: no assembly!!

Smaller than I thought it would be and difficult to put drinks on Not worth the price
