Well packaged with corner protection with extra screws - easy and quick to assemble (hardest part was attaching the lid - I was working alone :) and they recommend 2 people assemble). Ordered 2 to put under a low window in my dining area to store craft supplies for two grandchildren. Super sturdy and attractive. Worth it! There is lovely storage for my blankets and pillows, and for cats to sleep on a cushion on the top of the trunk. The storage also matches my coffee table. Unfortunately, two corners are already chipped, and the top part where it opens and closes has cracks. The wood seems to be weak and cheap.
