Wood from renewable resources.

Easy to put together until you reach the facial boards, then you either need long arms, or a second person. The hinges that hold the lid open are flimsy and use plastic. I did not use them, will find others to replace them.. Deanne. Hibbing, MN. Fri May 16 2025

This smaller blanket chest is just the right fit for areas needing extra storage capacity but lacking a large enough space to accommodate larger trunks or chests. The inside dimensions of the storage area are 34" W x 18" D x 14" High. Steel, spring assisted hinges ensure years of trouble free use. Trim pieces are skip peeled by hand using old-fashioned draw knives for a unique, one of a kind appearance. This product comes fully assembled for immediate use.

This is a great quality chest but 2 things to note: 1. The lid slams hard - watch for little fingers 2. The finish will scratch. I don't mind this because I wanted a rustic look, but with the dog using it as a perch/bed, his nails have definitely made their mark.. Stacy. US. Thu Jun 12 2025
