Shelf looks good on the wall and appears to be stable despite three of the screws being unable to fasten the boards to the frame due to badly offset brackets. Solid wood rustic farmhouse mantel shelf. These rustic shelves are made from solid wood beams. They have original saw markings, nail holes, and knots. These solid wood rustic shelves give you a rough-cut look while a unique sanding process gives them a nice clean finish. These Mantel/Shelves will look great above your fireplace or as a showpiece shelf hung on the wall. Farmhouse shelves will fit right in with the decor in your home. Mounting hardware is not included. Mounting should be done according to the wall construction wherever the mantel is displayed. All mantel shelves are 2.75"- 3" thick and 7.5"- 8" wide.

I purchased 2 of these to fix directly under the 2 upper cabinets at the sewing area of my laundry room. One of them has a couple of chipped off areas in the white finish exposing the brown fiber board under it that I will have to touch up with white paint but I like the overall look and function for my purpose..
