Solid wood rustic farmhouse mantel shelf. These rustic shelves are made from solid wood beams. They have original saw markings, nail holes, and knots. These solid wood rustic shelves give you a rough-cut look while a unique sanding process gives them a nice clean finish. These Mantel/Shelves will look great above your fireplace or as a showpiece shelf hung on the wall. Farmhouse shelves will fit right in with the decor in your home. Mounting hardware is not included. Mounting should be done according to the wall construction wherever the mantel is displayed. All mantel shelves are 2.75"- 3" thick and 7.5"- 8" wide.

I enjoy this sort of item. It fills the need and looks great in my new powder room As others have mentioned it is very heavy. I had no help so had to figure out a way to install it on my own. Luckily it is very easy to put together (I love putting stuff together) and I did it slightly different than the instructions. I’m mounted the long piece first and didn’t use the little wall fasteners it came with. Because of the weight I got larger fasteners for the upper part.
