I highly recommend especially if, like us you split your own wood. I took off 1 star because you cannot put it together with the “gimmie” tools provided. The bolts have built in gas gets, you’ll need a grown up wrench to hold the bolt and a power ratchet to seat everything together. However, the instructions are clear, and easily followed. Remember you must fill the tires with air, so if you don’t have a compressor at home…plan that out.
Once everything is put together and tightened down, this monster holds 5-6 loads that I usually got with my heavy duty Plow Hearth Canvas Log Holder. We have 1 wood stove and 1 fireplace. The wood stove is the workhorse. Loaded, it’s hard for me to bring the Log Cart over the threshold (I use heavy cardboard), but I’m able to bring in wood for an entire weekend, or a snow event as we just had.
You just need to have the ability to fill tires, and your own tools to properly put this together. It will need tightening at the endbeginning of each season. I plan to store mine outbuilding, to extend use.
Really great purchase! We actually lost our HVAC during a bad cold snap 16F. Even my GSD’s were cold! That’s when we slept in the Family Room with the fireplace until they got my old unit working temporarily. Wood kept us going, and having this wood cart was awesome, Blessings.. Wholetthedogsout.
