The edges rolll up and it’s generally a low quality rug.

The two runners I ordered looked great on each side of the bed. They need two-sided carpet tape or a non-slip pad underneath to keep them from slipping, but I expected that. I stuck one in the washer when it needed cleaning. Cotton is washable, and I used cool water and have a non-agitating front loader. But the rug got holes in some areas and many strand ends lifted. It wasn't stitched together very well. Washing it was a big mistake.
