The desk itself is very sturdy. Heavy and huge which is what we wanted for the home office. The 4 stars is because no instructions were included when it was delivered. We contacted the manufacturer and they said they’d send directions over and never did. Great desk! Heavy and sturdy. If I had to complain, it came in a beat-up box and a dime size scratch was on it. I called to have it repaired. Wayfair gave excellent customer service. Also, the delivery companies that most of these on-site retailers use for furniture are horrible. I'm furnishing a two story 5,000sq ft commercial building and the delivery companies have been a nightmare to say the least.
