Assembly was easy enough, unpacking the parts from the box was the most difficult part. They were packed in so tight that I was at one time afraid I’d break something. This sofa is incredibly comfortable and the cushions haven’t fluffed all the way yet! It takes approximately 3 days (72 hours) to fully decompress. Shipping was fast, no issues with the contents, but I think that they should have protected the upholstered parts that weren’t shrink wrapped better. They were lying completely exposed with no plastic covering or anything inside of the box. It was lucky that the pillows and back panels weren’t damaged or soiled. I was a little disappointed that the feet are not wood, but plastic. I highly recommend that if the couch isn’t situated on carpet, you will definitely have to have something underneath the feet on hard surfaces because it will slide! Assembly took about 3 hours, it wasn’t hard, just time consuming. It does sit low to the ground, but my cat is able to crawl underneath but can’t get back out on his own. I assembled the ottoman first, so it’s almost fully expanded and the seat height looks to be fairly standard. I am 5’4.5” and when I sit straight up on the sofa, the back is at a comfortable height and position for me. The description says it’s a beige, but it looks very bright white to me, then again, my recessed lights are set to daylight. I am waiting for my other sofa to sell and have it taken out of my basement so I can fully appreciate this beautiful new couch! My Ivy has completely taken over the ottoman! Day two update, the cushions have decompressed more and they are much fuller and sit higher. I connected the modules with the bolts underneath and the couch is sturdier. When sitting on it now the back cushions fully support my back and head. This is a nice surprise as I thought the back would be more of a low profile.
