Not happy at all with purchase. Why, why do I need Wifi to use this range?!? Paid for function like convection and air frying. DOES NOT WORK IF NOT ON WIFI. so full price for not fonctionning oven. Will never buy GE again.

I previously owned a GE profile series stove for 20yrs years. So when I was looking to replace it I compared the current GE profile with other stoves in the same price range and decided to by GE again given my previous experience. I love all of the features on my current stove ACCEPT THE GLASS COOK TOP! My previous stove had NO PERMANENT SCRATCHES after 20 years of heavy use. After 1 week I have a permanent scratch! VERY DISAPPOINTED that GE would change their product and use such a cheap poor quality glass.

This unit was delivered today. The stove top seems tp be fine but the oven shuts down after 30 seconds of pressing the enter button. I've tried bake, convection and convection roast. The all cancel after 20 to 30 seconds. And I have already given away the previous range. And the warming oven doesn't work either. BTW We have been waiting for this unit since July 21, 2020.

I purchased this range in April. Technicians have been here five times. Terrible oven. Its either too hot or takes forever to heat. Inconsistent temperature.

This is a great looking stove with a real quality feeling. Bottom drawer feels solid when sliding out. Insulation is so good that when the oven is on, we can barely feel any heat outside the stove - even the door window is cool to touch. The rollout oven rack makes it easy to lift out heavy items. As far as I know GE is the only manufacturer that still makes a true self cleaning stove - the others have gone for steam cleaning which gets rotten reviews. So what about this sloppy manufacturing: 1) Found two loose screws in the top oven and one loose screw in the bottom oven. While looking for where these screws came from I found several more that were screwed in only half way. No problem to tighten up but does not give a good feeling. 2) The bottom drawer has an annoying scraping sound when it is pulled out. All the similar model stoves in the showroom were the same, which was of interest to the sales person, but they could not figure out why. I diagnosed the problem myself and found that the metal frame of the bottom drawer was scraping on the frame of the stove because the bend in the metal was not quite 90 degrees as. Easy for me to fix with a large pair of pliers. 3) Missing one of the four bumpers that support the tray in the bottom oven drawer. The store where I purchased got be a bumper No problem for the store to get me one, and not hard to install. 4) The rollout rack is a great feature but it was really stiff and so would unhook from the oven when pulling out which defeated the whole idea. Tried oiling as recommended with the supplied oil and working it in and out but did not improve. Returned to stove and they gave me another one which works great. In spite of these “minor” manufacturing problems I would still recommend this stove as long as you buy from a dealer who services what they sell so that you can easily get missing parts or swap out defective parts…something that the big box stores can’t offer because they don’t have the parts. One more thing. You will have to figure out on your own how to use the temperature probe. I have not tried yet but can’t be that hard. The manual that came with stove is generic and says to consult the full owner’s manual but the GE website does not have a manual for the PCS940EMES, so I suspect there is no full owner’s manual.

20 minutes have passed and water that I put on the large burner still is not boiling. Not great.
