No smell when they are left to hang dry. They are more absorbent that we expected too which is nice. Beautiful simple design

My first set of linen towels, and am quite happy with these. Soften up nicely after a few washes and look much better than my old, bulky terry cloth towels. One thing I would mention is the colour in the photograph is a bit off. These are more of an oatmeal and brownish grey than a white/grey combo. However, they still look nice.
