I have never owned a duvet, always just comforters. This is wonderfully soft and pretty light weight but kept me comfortable all night. I wasn’t too hot or too cold…just right. The duvet cover I bought had ties for the top bottom and sides, but the insert only has loops on the corners. Being a king size I wish it had more loops but as of right now it has worked nicely..
