Love this! When it first started running, it took a little while to pop the first batch of cubes out and I thought, wow, this thing is really slow. But I just left it running, and the colder the water got, the faster the ice came out and after maybe an hour and a half or so, I had enough ice to fill a gallon-sized ziploc bag out of about 2 quarts of water. This ice machine is so cool and works so effectively my daughter keeps making ice over and over again because she really likes how well it works. The ice is pretty big even on the small setting, but it does the trick and I turned it off once the red light is flashing just make it about your eyes and then turn it off and put it in the freezer and then do it when I need more ice..
