Meyer SuperSteel 28cm Clad NonStick Skillet Fry Pan Made in Canada

Moving on from teflon pans, and found this beast. I’ve had trouble with uneven cooking because of a gas burner, but this pan is so thick, it no longer matters. Browned chicken thighs on low medium to perfection.The slab in the middle of the onions is what we call garlic madness. We buy bulk garlic, add a little olive oil and fresh lemon, purée, and freeze in zip-loc slabs. You’re welcome.

I watched Michael Smith doing a cooking show and ad for Meyer Cookware and decided to try the product out - hoping to replace some of my ineffective but hi-end cookware. The first thing I made was buttermilk pancakes. This is an old recipe of mine but this time the result was way better. The way the pan lightly browned the pancakes gave them a super flavour. Since then I've made prawn stir fry, florentine mix and meat and cabbage stuffing, among other dishes. In all cases the flavours were better than I had ever had with other pans. The pan gives even, fast cooking as advertised. Cleans up easily. A super purchase and am looking to buying the super steel nonstick 20 cm skillet next.

I used low-medium heat as recommended and the pan was hot. Food cooked evenly, clean up was a breeze. I love the smaller handles. It makes storage easier.

Great pan for everyday use. I like the heavy good quality & that I can use from stove top to oven!

It’s a pleasure to be able to ‘Buy Canadian’ high quality products from Atlantic Canada. The frying pans are truly non-stick.

Already seeing scratchy lines in the bottom after a very few uses and only wooden tools used. Cooks very well though but don’t want it to look scratched up. My previous pan was the accolade which I also loved but had to replace after a year or so due to the bottom becoming very brown.

This new non stick pan is great for sautéing and then finishing off a sauce or one pan dish. It can feel a bit heavy when filled with food but to be expected for size and shape.

This is a great investment. So practical and efficient. From stove top to oven it’s roomy to fit veggies and meat or whatever. You can see how things are cooking through the lid which is solid and great quality. No splattering thanks to the lid. I highly recommend this product and everything Meyer. Made in Canada!

Love this fry pan!! Well made, everything cooks evenly and is easy to clean up. Until recently I didn’t put as much effort as I should have in sourcing out Canadian products. Great purchase, good price and excellent quality.

I really like the size, the handles and the lid. I’m not a fan of non stick pans because of the health risks and they scratch very easily. These are no different. I have not used metal tools and there are still marks from wood and plastic utensils.
