Mikasa Swirl 4 Piece Place Setting, Service for 1

Arrived when expected. Dishes were packed well so none were chipped or broken. These are quality dishes that look even better in person. I plan to order more.

My husband and I absolutely love them but I didn’t look good enough, they only come one place setting. One dinner plate, one saucer plate, one tea cup and one salad bowl. I need another 2 sets to have a table for 4 and I find they are very expensive for just that one box of one set only. But I’ve started this now and when I can I’ll have to Oder 2 more boxes because I’ve already ordered 2

I received 8 settings for Christmas 2010. I am using my dishes daily. So far, one large plate broke, two more have chipped and there are two smaller plates that are cracked. I promise you, I am not abusing this dinnerware. I am very careful with it, but it seems very brittle to me. In fact, the plates that have chipped - are like slate. It literally just flakes off and slate or soapstone is the best way I can compare it. It is beautiful dinnerware and I absolutely love how it looks. Unfortunately, I'm not going to replace it as it breaks because it will be a never-ending process.

Gorgeous and contemporary. The set is, so far after three weeks, holding up well to our beating and stone counters. It does not get excessively hot in the microwave and is cleaning nicely in the dishwasher and by hand. My husband, who is completely indifferent on items of home decor is "quite smitten with our new dinnerware" -so there you go.

These plates have been great to use on a daily basis. They are nice enough for light company to use for an impromptu visit, too good enough to serve sloppy Joe's or spaghetti in front of the TV. They clean easily, we use them as every day plates that go in the dishwasher. They are sturdy, and after 1.5 years of daily use, they have not chipped or discolored.

These dishes are fantastic. Elegant looking but practical. Have been using them daily with no problems noted.

I bought this pattern years ago. Lately I found that I needed additional placesettings. I was pleasantly surprised that they were available. I was so happy to hear that. I get so many compliments when I use them.

Rounded corner on the plates gives place settings an interesting look. The shape of the bowls looks modern and sleek. Nice creamy ivory color and the glaze on the center gives the set a nice "pop" on the table. Have used in microwave and have put in dishwasher with great results.
