This is a beautiful set of flatware with a classy look. It would work with many different styles of dinnerware. For me, it was a no brainer since even my stemware had the same black and gold trim. There is a downside you should be aware of when making a decision about buying. There is only one fork in each place setting, and the areas where the gold and black meet is a potential for rough spots. My biggest issue is with the tablespoon. It is oddly weighted more to the bowl than the handle so a little awkward. It’s also larger and heavier than the typical tablespoon. All that aside, I’m happy my purchase and would buy it again.. I had this flatware pattern in the past and loved it. When too many pieces went missing, I tried to move on. Two different sets later I found it on Wayfair. Three or four years ago I bought this Oneida flatware. I absolutely loved it somehow over the years. A couple pieces got lost and I just treated myself to a new set for Thanksgiving dinner at my house. It’s absolutely stunning. I love it.
