This is a very unique and versatile roaster! The lid and base are both stovetop safe, and work great for searing, reducing sauces/gravy, and so far for me it has resisted warping. I frequently use this to sear beef roasts, legs of lamb, etc, before roasting or braising. Works well for chickens, not quite big enough for a turkey.
