Joe Ladder Bookcase

Its been almost a year since a bought it and it still looks brand new. I built it for over 1 hour. The woods are a little heavy but can be build by one person.

Needed some shelving to fit this narrow alcove. Was the perfect size and supposing great quality. Putting it together WAS tedious and would be difficult for someone who lacked dexterity but I am happy with the final look. Serves its purpose well

What’s not to love Super cute, affordable, small space solution shelving. Needed something to get stacks of books off the floor and this did the trick. Assembly was not super fast (not hard, just a little tedious), took a couple hours but for the price I’m not complaining!

Looks really nice but the material smells so bad. I’m hoping it eventually goes away. But for now it’s intolerable to stand next to.

This bookcase was sadly underwhelming, despite the stellar reviews. The "charcoal grey" of the legs is essentially black and the brand, as well, is NOT Mercury Row, it's Safavieh. The bookcase is sturdy, but while connecting one of the shelves to the frame, the screw went through to the other side because the wood is quite soft. I'm disappointed enough to go through the hassle of dismantling the piece and returning it to Wayfair.
