Nice, interesting color that adds some life to an otherwise plain white room. The headboard arrived with a small cut about half an inch long. It’s minor, but unfortunately, I notice it every time I look at it. Overall, the bed was fairly easy to assemble, provides great storage, and keeps pets from hiding underneath. I love this bed so much! It is gorgeous solid wood!!! The directions are super simple. It took me and a helper 30-40 minutes to put this together. A second person is useful just because the head board is quite heavy to handle alone. Not impossible, you could do it alone. Seriously, easiest bed I have ever put together. We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. I used a drill to attach the bolts and over tighten them and one started to come through the other side on the headboard. Totally my fault. The bed itself is well made and pretty solid.. Marianne.
