Bookcase was sturdy and easy to put together. However there are spots where the black paint was rubbed off or missing on the fronts of the cabinet doors, as well as a few places on the backing that show. Would have rated it higher if it did not arrive with the flaws in such prominent places. Too much trouble to take apart and drag downstairs.

As long as you’re not looking for heirloom quality furniture, this piece works. price was a little high compared to the quality

Good quality for the price. It takes more time to build than expected, so plan ahead.

I purchased this for a bookcase. For the price it looks great. But there is one drawback. All shelves are just a tiny bit too low for 3-ring binders. It would have been a show stopper for me if I realized the height of the shelves were fixed. No wiggle room at all.
