We bought this for a flex room that we have as a studio and we wanted to block a door and this is perfect for that corner! If we want to allow access, it is easy to shift from an L-shape bookshelf to a regular bookshelf. The functionality aspect is great and we can't wait to make this a beautiful space. This is a great large book case. The instructions are easy to follow. If you are looking for a transitional style or coastal style bookcase this is it. Also great for dorm/ apartment living

I bought this to hang on the wall above the baseboard but the way that this is constructed, there is not a surface to anchor the bookcase to the wall such as you would a solid constructed bookcase
