Nice, interesting color that adds some life to an otherwise plain white room. The headboard arrived with a small cut about half an inch long. It’s minor, but unfortunately, I notice it every time I look at it. Overall, the bed was fairly easy to assemble, provides great storage, and keeps pets from hiding underneath. I spent waaaaaaay too much time looking at beds EVERYWHERE. When I finally took the plunge on this one and hit “order”, I added the professional set up because I read mixed reviews about the difficulty of putting it together. Well, our bed arrived today ahead of the install that was scheduled for tomorrow and my husband jumped right in—and I’m so thankful he did! Together we got it together in less than 1.5 hours, cancelled the install, got the amount credited and it is better than I could’ve imagined! It is sturdy, beautiful, and exceeds all my expectations. Bed arrived as described. So far the lighting works. Make sure you download the lotus lantern app makes it easier to change the led colors and setting from the app! Platform bed sits a little low ,frame doesnt seem very sturdy will probly wind up finding something else down the road. For now enjoying pairing the led light with my fireplace lighting! I love this bed so much! It is gorgeous solid wood!!! The directions are super simple. It took me and a helper 30-40 minutes to put this together. A second person is useful just because the head board is quite heavy to handle alone. Not impossible, you could do it alone. Seriously, easiest bed I have ever put together.
