I bought this because it was solid wood and not particle board. However, it was very difficult to put together. The hardware was properly labeled but the wood pieces were not. Also the diagrams in the instructions were not drawn with a lot of detail so it took a bit of time to determine which pieces were correct and if they were facing the correct direction. On top of that, one of the holes for a dowel was slightly misaligned causing the wood to crack while I was trying to get the pieces put together. I still don’t have the doors attached. My attempt to put them on failed and the instructions were impossible to see what needed to be done to get them on properly. I’ll probably give up and leave them off. I do not recommend this item.

Sturdy bookcase at a great price

Missing pieces, wood pieces not marked. I made the mistake of starting assembly months after I received it, so too late to return. Making the best of it
