I ordered two of these, and each came with a broken shelf. There was no damage during shipping, so I believe this is a manufacturer issue. Really disappointed, but I don't want to go through the hassle of returning- so I will have to make them work with missing shelves. Just be aware when you order that 1 of 3 shelves is going to be broken beyond repair.

Nice solid bookcase. Fits perfectly in a narrow nook. Instructions are a little confusing initially, but it is super easy to assemble.
