This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I included a picture of one of the pieces used to install the lathes that support the mattress. There's a right way and wrong way to install them -- make sure you have the "T" shaped side pointing inward. I couldn't figure out why some were sliding in easily and others weren't.
